Done deal. I tried out a new varnish which i liked better than the old one. I felt bored and annoyed when i did this, to me it shows in the finished painting.

This one is slowly coming along, I haven't painted over it and started over yet.

12 The long and irritating way to a decent painting when my creativity seems to have gone a way for a hollyday. Or a recipie for bad sleep.

Start out with a halfass freehand sketch directly at the canvas

Convince yourself that it might be nice when the shadows are in place

 It only needs some more colours and it actually starts to look OK

Start doubting your decision of leaving the eyes white and paint in the eyes. Get mad at yourself and spray over the eyes with shock red. "It might look cool and if you don't do it you will never know"

Now you know and it didn't look cool. Paint the whole thing over with White and start over.

The latest painting I'm done with.
Lately I've been thinking more about my pictures and I've realised that almost none of the faces is expressing anything, and if they are it's not much.But some how I manage to feel something from them anyway. They are all having their secrets but most of the time I think I can tell what they are.

Sometimes when I paint i feel too uptight. Working too hard at details. I did this painting carrying that feeling from previous projects. A let loos canvas to to speek.
